Confirmation Class
Choosing to become a member of the church is an important step in the life of each person. As a way to help navigate this process, the Presbyterian Church holds confirmation classes. During this educational and spiritual opportunity, kids in high school study the beliefs of the Presbyterian Church and write their own faith statement, which they then share with the church on the Sunday when they become a member.
Sunday School …
At Elkin Presbyterian Church we believe that it is important to have good-quality Christian Education for all ages, especially our children, as they are learning about Jesus and shaping their religious beliefs.
We have classes for all ages from birth through high school. Classes include stories and lessons from the Bible, arts and crafts, drama, singing and prayer.
Bible School …
Our Bible School is an exciting way to get younger children involved in the church and the community in a fun and engaging way. Each year, for one week during the summer, kids of Elkin Presbyterian Church gather for Bible stories and lessons, crafts, games and great music. Each year consists of a different theme and the week ends with a big gathering where parents get a chance to see all that their kids have learned during their week at Bible School while getting a chance to enjoy fellowship with others.
